Hunting and Gun Dog Training Program

Today’s hunting dog is a member of the family and needs to have a solid foundation of basic obedience training so he can co-exist with his humans while enhancing his natural ability to retrieve and fetch.

Gone are the days of sending your dog away to a trainer for months at a time just to get back a piece of hunting equipment who lives in a kennel. Instead, I will involve you in every step of the training process, building your bond and enhancing trust, so that you and your dog will work together in the field. Our training program also includes any necessary field trial runs to ensure your dog is finished exactly as you want him.

Whether we are teaching your wetland dog to retrieve your green heads, whoa-breaking a bird dog or focusing your upland dog to hold his point, patience and restraint are key components in our hunting dog training.
